This used to be my mother's account, but I took it over when she passed away in April 2011. I have another account, so I'm leaving her name in the mailing address (Lois) so that I'll know which account a card is meant for.
Lois loved giraffes, and giraffe cards are still very welcome. My special animal is the hedgehog, so I'd love to get a hedgehog card.
Other card suggestions:
• Other animals, especially ones that are specific to your area
• Birds, again, ones that are a bit unusual and are specific to your area
• Card with a lot of purple, my favorite color
• Handmade cards
In general, I'd rather have something other than a traditional tourist card, but if that's all you've got, that's fine!
I retired recently, and now have more time for my hobbies, which include bird photography, decorating eggs in the Ukrainian style, rubber-stamping, and creating collages.
