I am a New Yorker who now resides in Vancouver BC. Aside from North America, I've spent time mainly in France and India. I'm married to Gordan, from Bosnia, who will translate any postcards that come in Hindi or Serbo-Croatian. (He can probably make out any that are written in Italian, German, or Russian, if they are simple enough.) I spend my days knitting, weaving, spinning, gardening, cooking, and painting, surrounded by foster cats.

I would love to read poetry, jokes, dreams you've had, quotes, your most spectacular recipes, spiritual thoughts of all kinds, all the sounds you can hear as you write, good things that you experienced recently, the weather in graphic detail, travel anecdotes, folktales, favorite natural remedies, anything at all, and doodles. A particular favorite would be jokes that are really funny in your language but don't translate well--explained or not.

All postcards are appreciated, part of the fun is to see what you like. I also save stamps to give to my stamp-collecting father, which are sparse in our electronic age, so neat stamps are welcome. I love handmade cards. If you are choosing between many postcards, I like both unique postcards and commonly available themes: nature, wildlife, gardens, landscapes, rustic or old buildings and streets, paintings and illustrations, portraits of historical figures.
