About Irina...

Hi! My name is Irina, I'm 43 y.o. I was born and grew up happily in Russia but now live in Holland.

I love reading and everything that has to do with books (libraries, book shops and even smell of paper in a book...), blogging (in the past), music, word puzzles (crosswords), traveling, British comedies and detectives, concerts, especially classical music performances, and`opera.

I have a hobby (craft) blog in Russian:

What cards do I like? Many, but here are some ideas:

- show me your land and anything beautiful and special about it
- interesting, unusual, catchy buildings/houses
- castles
- beautiful pieces of art
- beautiful places on Earth
- famous people (royals, music and movie stars, etc.)
- Mr. Bean, Harry Potter
- National Geographic photos (nature/landscapes and animals)
- old and old-fashioned vehicles (fire trucks, trains/locomotives, sailing ships and steamboats, bicycles, old timers, baby carriages)
- retro advertisements/posters
- vintage/nostalgic cards
- vintage Halloween and Christmas cards
- propaganda
- beautiful animal species
- paintings of Anton Pieck, Norman Rockwell, orientalist art
- vintage (children) book illustrations
- classic books characters
- old magazine covers (like The New Yorker, Vogue or others)
- any card that you find fascinating
- cards from my favorites gallery or similar to them (besides those that I've already got! Please check "the receiver" of a card in my favorites):

I also like beautiful stamps with animals, boats (especially sailing boats), vehicles (oldtimers, locomotives, and trains, fire engines), folklore or anything special and beautiful about your country or in general. So if you can, please stick some beautiful stamps on your card, I would appreciate it.

Please put a date of sending on your card, it will make a difference 30 years later. :)

Please, no envelope.

I'm looking forward to your special card, and wishing you a lot of beautiful cards from all around the globe!
