Hallo allemaal! Hi there!

I live in The Netherlands, in the city Doetinchem (about 56.000 residents) which is in the region called Gelderland and near the German border. For other Dutch people that means: farms, cows and an accent;-) Well, that is a little bit overdone. Ok, it's not Amsterdam here, but I do not own a farm or have cows in my backyard. Wat we dó have here is a beautiful countryside, nature and nice small towns. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doetinchem)

I'm juggling between my three 'jobs' as a wife, a mother (2 and 4 years) and a secretary in a menthal health institution. Some of you will therefore understand that my world is not so much bigger than my work, my family, primary school, daycare and the supermarket at the moment ;-) That's mainly the reason to sign me up for this great Postcrossing-project: to feel a little spark of life from people outside The Netherlands. And to dream about all the places I would like to visit some day, when the kids grow up. Meanwhile, I enjoy the small things in life like reading a book, (window)shopping and having a cup of tea in the city, going to the sauna or taking a swim with my family.

My only wish for your card is that it's colorful and happy. I also like the touristic cards from your city/region/country! And my children are mostly the first ones who pick up the mail at the doorstep, so a childrens card is always welcome.
