Howdy!
I don't lead a very exciting life, but I like it that way :-) My wife (Sharon) and I were married in 1973; we have three daughters: Bethany, Shannon and Liann, all grown up and on their own. I've worked in retail stores, delivered newspapers and pizzas, been a sports official (baseball, softball, volleyball, American football and soccer), and worked in a museum. Sharon is a lot more stable; she's worked in Quality Assurance in the health and beauty industry for many years.
My hobbies include reading, photography, stamp collecting, woodworking, gardening and hiking. I have been an amateur astronomer as far back as I can remember, and am also an amateur geologist. Sharon and I are active Geocachers (www.geocaching.com) and letterboxers, and I also am active in Where's George (www.wheresgeorge.com), which is a North American money-tracking site.
If I have a preference, I would most like to receive postcards of native plants and animals, interesting architecture, scenic landscapes and gardens, and historical places. But any subject is fine: surprise me! Feel free to write something in your native language; if I can't read it right away, I'll have fun looking it up :-)
