Hi, I'm Nickie, I am 58 years old & live in beautiful central Florida in the United States.

I will be very happy with any card you send -- I love looking at postcards from all over the world, so I'm thrilled with any nice cards. But if you want to make me squeal with joy, you can send me one of the following favorite:

- a beautiful view of your city or country

- a map card of your state / country

- Puffins or pigs!!!

- armadillos, gators, crocodiles, possums

- ocean animals or birds of any sort

- ferrets or pet rats (or any ferret-related creatures such as minks, martens, weasels, etc)

- vintage tourist attraction cards

- did I mention PIGS??? I'll love you forever if you send me a pig! :) (But not a cartoon character like Porky Pig though - thanks!) 'Babe' the pig is great - he's not a cartoon! :)
A ferret (or ferret-like critter) or pet rat/mouse would make me ecstatic too!

But really, I truly am very easy to please & I'm happy just to get nice postcards in my mailbox, regardless what they are!

My hobbies include crafts of all sorts - but especially crocheting, sewing, quilting and some amateur artwork. I enjoy gardening, although I don't always do very well at it! I love being outdoors, I like parks, walking through the woods, and plan to start camping again soon.

I'm struggling to learn Spanish - and am very slow at it so far - but if you happen to speak Spanish, it would be fun if you wrote your message in Spanish - it would give me a challenge trying to translate as much as possible! :)

I am a widow, I still struggle with the pain of losing my beloved husband who died far too young - after 8 years, it is still so very hard sometimes! We were true soulmates & had an incredible fairy-tale love/romance for the entire 17 years we were together.

I've battled moderate-to-severe clinical depression most of my life, diagnosed as bipolar 2 when in my 30's. Severe PTSD following a bad car accident, so I am mostly unable to get out of my house very much these days because driving induces such anxiety & there is no public transportation where I live. That can be quite frustrating & I (used to!) love being on the go & getting out and about!!
