About Lulu...
Hi! This is Lulu from Hong Kong. I speak Chinese and English, Spanish (beginner), Indonesian(Can only speak in words and short phrases, just enough for ordering food and bargaining.) I like reading, writing, shopping, cooking, watching movies, listening to music, travelling and hiking. Sometimes, I make rubber stamps for leisure.
I teach Chinese in a secondary school.
Every time I visit a country, I buy some postcards, and send some of them to my friends.
As some of you have mentioned in your profile, we learn a lot from postcards. I remember that I read a book describing 20th Century China in Postcards(《明信片清末中國》), it was amazing. I also remember how happy I was when I stood in front of the bazaar stalls in front of the Barcelona's Cathedral glancing over the old postcards, and finally found a postcard featuring a sketch of the Cathedral of Chartres (in France).
I am greatly interested in postcards about architecture, world heritage, world culture(typical food, costume, games, activities ,etc) art and people. Religious icons and picture of Saints are also welcomed. If you happens to have postcards of Spain, or postcards about the World Youth Day 2011 (La Jornada Mundial de la Juventud), I would be very happy to receive it. Sure you can send me something else, something of your own interest.
I would be glad if you could write about the objects in the postcard you send me. You can also tell me about yourself and the place you live. You can also write one or two words in your own language. I would be glad to know how "FAITH", "HOPE","LOVE" and "PEACE" is written in your language. You can also surprise me by writing and drawing whatever you like!
Do write something apart from the address! Thank you!
