About Maria...

Hello everyone,

my name is Maria and I'm from Dresden, Germany.
I love postcards and each nice one has a place on my door. I collect them for years and remind all my friends to send a card, when they are travelling. Most of then don't get that far, but it's nice when they think of me and send a nice one. It's great to open the mailbox and find a card.

In my free time, I'm a full time writer ;) I write, correct and rewrite my stories. At the moment I write a novel (long long long time project) and (as always) some short stories.
For my english speaking friends I'll try to translate some of my short stories into English. This will take a while (because of my bad English) but I will post them on my blog, when they are ready =)
I also love to dance (latin, standard) and to ride a bicycle.
When I don't write or dance I go to university to study Hydrology (water). Don't ask me why, I try to find the answer for some months...

For postcards I love all types. Mostly I prefer landscape (nice beaches or rivers) or street view, that I can see some buildings or something of the city. Some nice pictures or self made are also welcome. If you find a nice poem or a dancing pair, I'll be very happy with them.
For animals I adore crocodiles, snakes or other reptiles.
But you don't have to find a card, that fits. All in all I'm happy when I get one =)

If you don't know what you should write, you can tell me something about the book you read, last read or which you can recommend. Tell me, what you like/ dislike, why you would recommend it, or maybe not? Just speak about it. Same applies to movies.

Greetings from Germany and Happy Postcrossing
Maria

PS: I can not upload pictures of cards (my camera is too bad for such tasks and we don't have a scanner...). So if you want to have yours uploaded, please do it by yourselves. I'm sorry for that. Thank you for uploading.
