Hello my unknown friends,

I'm Yvonne. I'm 35 years old and I live in a small hanseatic town in Northern Germany.

My hobbies and interests are as numerous as varied:
- Photoshopping and Photography
- science (astronomy, cosmology, physics, quantum physics,...)
- history and pioneering things
- culture and mythology
- I like to learn in general, and to expand my horizons.
- London, UK (I really love that city)
- Books (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, nonfiction about topics that interest me)
- Movies/TV (Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Steampunk, Comic book movies, all of Tim Burton, Disney, Pixar, sometimes horror-movies, comedies, The BBC-Series Doctor Who, Sherlock, Torchwood...)
- Musicals and Theater
- Music (handmade! All kind of Rock, Metal, maybe with classical or medieval elements in it, a little Folk,...)

And finally: to make the world move closer to me. I'm so glad that I have the chance to send and receive postcards from around the world.

I love to open the mailbox and find lovely words from anyone anywhere in the world. It is like having a look through a small window into the life of a stranger.
And vice versa I love the thought that even after many, many years a few of your words can be found in some drawers anywhere in the world.

I appreciate any kind of postcard. I like cards that are extraordinary, romantic, weird, beautiful, unusual, wistfully, imaginative, showing meaningful occurrences, conveying emotions,...
I like cards matching to my interests, or also matching to your interests, your life, your hobbies, your country or city. Cards that shows me who you are or how you live.
I am not very deadlocked in special kind of cards. If you look at my favourites, you'll see, that there can be found many different kind of cards.
Be sure I will be happy about any card from you. :)

And please: write something!
Anything you want to tell about, is very welcome to me.
Maybe you want to tell about:
- yourself, your hobbies, where you live, your favourite song/place/book/movie/...
- your country and city, historical facts about the place where you live
- funny anecdotes, Quotes, Poems, a section of your favourite song lyrics, maybe a joke?
