Hello!
I'm Lori. I'm 38, and I work as a legal transcriptionist. I live with my husband George, who has worked in both archaeology and journalism. I enjoy reading, crafts, writing, games, nature, animals, volunteering at a local animal shelter...and, of course, sending and receiving postcards!
See my "Favorites" for cards I don't actually have, but really like. Other themes and images I'd be interested in receiving include:
Circuses and circus memorabilia (especially sideshows)
Carnivals with rides, local fairs, masqued carnivales, etc.
Books and authors (pictures of books, libraries or people reading; author portraits; illustrations from books)
Playing-card-inspired art and images (especially jokers)
Animals (seagulls, marmosets, hedgehogs, cats, manatees and other sealife, Himalayan black "sun" bears -- all kinds!)
Trees and woodlands
If you're from Finland or anywhere else where you can get Inge Look's postcards (with the two little old ladies having all kinds of fun together) -- I love those!
Personalized postcards -- either embellished/altered pre-made cards or handmade cards with your own drawings or photography -- are most welcome!

I've received 200+ postcards so far, and they're all so unique and wonderful! I love seeing what people have chosen for me, and not knowing what to expect, so please don't feel limited by my postcard suggestions. I love all kinds of images -- landscapes and landmarks, animals and art. I also really enjoy seeing the things that make other people's hometowns and countries special to them.
I like both stamped postcards and cards in envelopes. I'd love for you to include personal messages, quotes, doodles -- whatever! -- on the postcards you send me. It's very cheering for me to go back and look at what people from all over have written to me. If you like to write, feel free to include a letter; and if you'd like a reply, include your address!
