Random things about me:
1) I work for a food website (http://www.epicurious.com). Are there certain dishes/foods that you like in particular for which your city/region/country is known?
2) I like photography (http://www.flickr.com/photos/essny) and wish I had more time to take more photos. I want to learn how to take pictures of people with my point-and-shoot camera. Do you have any tips?
3) I like a good book. Some of my favorite books: Persuasion (J. Austen), Money (M. Amis), Midnight's Children (S. Rushdie), Ethan Frome (E. Wharton) and basically everything written by Oscar Wilde. Rilke's written some of my favorite poetry. If you have any good books to recommend, please do!
4) I like a strong cup of coffee. If I were to visit your country/city, where would I find a good cup of coffee?
5) I wish I could travel a lot more, but that requires $$ and time. I've only crossed the Atlantic Ocean to visit the Netherlands (Utrecht and Amsterdam) and Belgium (Bruges and Brussels). What would you recommend I see and do in your city/country?
6) If possible, I'd love to learn a useful phrase in a different language, so include it on the postcard.
7) I used to play croquet, so if you can send a postcard with any sort of croquet image, that would be fun. But really, any postcard is welcome!
