About Emily...

Hello! I am Emily, 26. I am a preschool teacher of children ages 2.5-5 years old - I love it! I dream of someday becoming a mother and have a family of my own. I am currently engaged to be married to my fiance, Josh, on October 20, 2012. I come from a town where the largest buildings around are the churches, and most people know each other. I love music and singing, and I have a huge heart for animals. I have 2 cats, an orange tabby (Willy) and a black and white tuxedo (Pokey), and a dog, a black lab mix named Diego. My hobbies include reading, scrapbooking and crafts, cooking and recipes, film, music, and interior decorating. I am in love with Paris (France) and New York City, Cinderella, and Audrey Hepburn movies.

I would love to receive any postcards, but hold a particular fondness for...
- Anything listed above!
- The BEATLES!, Buddy Holly, Selena
- Peanuts characters (Charlie Brown and Snoopy)
- Churches/Cathedrals
- Baseball (particularly the Cubs or Wrigley Field)
- Stained glass windows
- Children's Book Illustrations
- Moomin! (I have never received one!)
- Statues or Cemeteries
- Vintage cards
- buildings/bridges/architecture, etc.
- Animals
- Any Seasonal or Holiday cards

I love all cards I receive, and equally love the interesting or beautiful postage stamps. I love to read messages written on the back...tell me about yourself or where you live! What is your favorite song or movie? If you speak anything other than English, could you teach me how to say or write "I Love You" in your language? I really, really love COLOR. So I appreciate anything colorful - whether it be colorful ink you are writing with, stickers added to the postcard, stamps, or a colorful postcard itself. I can't stand white walls in my house...I have a very colorful life. :)

I am so thrilled to be a part of this. Thank you in advance for the lovely card you send my way! Happy post crossing to you all!
