About Eliseo...

I'm Eli, but those whom speak spanish call me Eliseo. I have no preference; whichever is easiest for you. My taste in music is varied but I do gravitate toward folk(ish) music at the moment. I'm a HUGE Tallest Man on Earth fan. I write a lot. It is a talent that has been evolving and maturing for the past 9 years. I play guitar. I read. My favorite past-time is sending letters to my friends. I find therapeutic-value in making my envelopes and the great detail in the content I mail to others. Although my passion is to mail letters to others, I find myself wanting to receive something(anything) in return. This has not happened at all. I hope that this site will remedy this problem and restore my faith in others once more.

I like postcards of any type but since I am given the opportunity to state any preferences I am more than happy to describe. When you choose a postcard to send out please keep in mind the following themes:

-nature (I find scenes of nature/wildlife from foreign countries to be inspiring)
-vintage (the older something is, the more of a story and character it holds)
-art (galleries, museums, painting, photography, sculpture, etc... any media is appreciated)
-landmarks (this is an obvious indicator of where the postcard is coming from)
-hedgehogs or dogs (i love hedgehogs and dogs)
-berries (berries are beautiful)
-HANDMADE postcards are always welcome. They show the recipient that you took the time, care, and thought, to create something with your own hands.

PLEASE make sure to write down a secret, random thought you may have, or your highlight of the day. I am not picky about the postcard you send me...just as long as it is personalized with anything you want to write down. Your handwriting to me is as important as the postcard itself because it is in essence, a representation of you.
