About Elena...

Hello!

My name is Elena. I live in the capital of Latvia - Riga. I absolutely love traveling and have been to around 15 countries so far. I also spent one year in California, USA, and nine amazing months in Paris where I was studying business as an exchange student, working in an English pub, trying to learn French and, of course, enjoying every second of my life. I am totally thrilled with the idea of postcrossing and, even though I am now impatiently waiting for my first card to arrive, I am planning on having an impressive collection – something to look at with pride when I am old and grumpy!

As for my postcard preferences, I particularly like:
- Funny, sort of primitivistic, drawings
- Night sky
- Local fairy tale characters like Moomins
- Inspiring cards
- If you are from an exotic country, I would probably love a city or a landscape view.

If you do not have a card that falls into any of these categories, just send me a card YOU think is amazing, a card you look at and think “Grrrr, I wanna keep it to myself!”.

I would appreciate if you could also write me a few lines – just anything that comes to your mind! Oh, and I would die for a beautiful stamp.

I would prefer NOT to receive handmade, multi-view and ad cards. Please, also no photos instead of postcards. I am sorry to write that, but I hope you understand that it's just a matter of personal preference.
