What a wonderful idea this is.

I'm a busy, disorganized mother of two active kids who has a yarn and fabric habit. I seem to spend most of my free time on the sidelines of a field, baseball diamond or hockey arena. I love getting mail that isn't a bill. If given a choice I would love to receive postcards that show something (city scene, landmark, nature, map, art) of where it came from. I would also love it if the postcards did not come in an envelope so that it could have it's own stamp and cancellation mark.

My city just finished hosting the olympic and paralympic winter games and i talked, laughed and cheered with many different people from all over the world. I loved having that connection to the rest of the world and postcrossing is another wonderful way to experience that connection.
