Hello, Postcrossers! I don't know what to say about myself... I love to travel and see the world, but since money is (always) tight, I can't do too much of that. Instead, I'm making pen friends and getting neat postcards in the mail, which can be just as fun sometimes.

About me... I'm 26 and an English teacher, but I am definitely not the kind to point out when people say something wrong (all my friends worry that I'll point out their mistakes, but why would I do that when I like them so much?!) so please, write whatever you want... I just like hearing from people around the world, seeing handwriting I've never seen before...

Interests... I love the show Doctor Who, and Grey's Anatomy is another favorite, no matter how unrealistic and sometimes melodramatic it is! I like to cook and bake and then bring in food to my coworkers so that I don't eat it all myself... I play the piano when I have time and can find a piano, and I listen to music of all kinds. I have an adorable dog named Bella, and she's a cocker spaniel mixed with something, but since I adopted her from the pound, we don't know what else she is.

Send me any kind of postcard that you can find! I don't care if it's one you picked up on a trip and never sent to anyone and it made its way back to your hometown in your suitcase. I have no preferences... the picture is just the bonus to the real fun of postcards: THE WORDS. If you're really at odds for ideas, some of the things I like:

- history
- art (especially Art Noveau)
- music
- native animals or plants
- food (including recipes YUM)
- nature (absolutely anything here!)
- cows
- squirrels (and other rodents)
- dogs
- fantasy (fairies/fey & other "races", dragons, etc.) / sci-fi
- natural phenomena
- beaches and the ocean =)
