About Martina...

Greetings to everyone!

I´m 50-year-old Martina from Germany. I make my living working in the IT business, but I make my life in a very (!) small place in the country near Kaiserslautern with my husband, our two dogs and two cats.

What do I enjoy? That´s a difficult question since there´s quite a lot. To name a few things: I enjoy spending lots of time in the outdoors doing gardening and digging around in the dirt, roaming the woods with the dogs or just reading a good book in a favorite spot. Music, good books and movies, spending time with friends and family.

Teaching my nieces and nephews silly things or those which make a lot of noise or get you good and dirty are great fun, too. Well, you see, that´s my job, I am their aunt after all!

However, spending time with just me is fine too - I happen to think I´m good company for myself. :-)

Now, let´s see, what kinds of postcards do I like? All of them! Funny ones, with pictures of your country, with pictures of animals, of art, it doesn´t really matter, whatever you think is interesting.

But if you ask what my favorites are: definitely Moomin or Inge Löök cards - they always make me smile. So if you´re a postcrossing friend from Finland and happen to get my address - you´ll make my day with one of those!

And if a postcrossing friend from one of the Southwest states of the U.S. should happen to get my address: I would just adore receiving a card with a SW motif. Thanks bunches!
