My name is Dominika and I am from the Czech Republic from a small town which is located about 30 km from the capital Prague.

I study Middle Eastern Studies for the second year and I wish I could learnt Arabic language there. I hope some day I will be able to communicate fluently in this beautiful language.

Also I like getting to know other languages and interesting cultures which is connected with travelling. My other hobbies are for example going to the theatre or make-up art.

I love quotation of René Descartes - "It is useful to know something of the manners of different nations, that we may be enabled to form a more correct judgment regarding our own, and be prevented from thinking that everything contrary to our customs is ridiculous and irrational,—a conclusion usually come to by those whose experience has been limited to their own country."

About postcards - I would like to receive from you cards with:

- your city or country (beautiful places or buildings, for example castles, churches, cathedrals, mosques etc.)

- things typical to your country, somehow related to your living place

- beutiful photos or paintings of small children and babies or babies with their mothers

- retro baby carriage

- retro/vintage

- beautiful black and white

- theme of Jane Eyre or Charlotte Brontë

- Le Petit prince

- Harry Potter (mainly I appreciate HP stamps)

- traditional people

- Vogue, Vanity Fair

- cards somehow interesting - send me a card you think I will like and I will be very happy, or just get inspiration in my favourites, there are many cards I like but I can't describe them all (however, there are also cards sent to me :-) )

Please, don't send me pictures of cartoon characters if possible, I usually don't like it.. :-) And of course, I don't want ad cards.
I'd like cards without an envelope (if there isn't a reason for it) because I like cards with stamps and postmarks on it.

I would be happy if you write me something about you (who are you, what are you doing or what would you like to do, what makes you happy, how was your day, what was the best moment in your life and so on and so on..), about your country, about a card etc. ...or something in your language with translation.. :-)
