Aging fast due to inability to adjust to living in Tornado Alley. Orginally from Denver, CO. and I miss the mountains. Here it is flat, hot, and humid. Never thought of Kansas as wet, but we get more rain than Seattle, Washington.
I love animals, have one cat, Niki, a stray I took in 10 years ago. One dog, Maggie May, a Cairn Terrier, who thinks she rules the house..Very stuborn and an old lady now to boot.
I say I have two pets but I feed any where up to 22 strays at one time, especially in the Spring when new kittens are abundent.
I read a lot and listen to music as a daily habit.
I am a full time caregiver for a disabled husband. He had a work accident 14 years ago and due to the extent of the injuries has never been able to work again.
Because of that fact our traveling days are over. That is why I love postcards, lets me see something of the world that I can no longer travel.
Love cards with pictures of you country and information on your country and your life. Also something in your language even if it is just, Hello.
