About Edit...

My name is Edit and I live in the capital of Hungary.

I like to travel and to be in nature, my new hobby is archery. I also adore animals.

I especially like postcards of the following subjects:

- nature, wildlife, national parks, indigenous people, food/market, UNESCO WH sites, traditional clothes/ceremonies, symbols or world famous sights of the country/city where you live in (I prefer single view cards)
- Greetings from... cards by Ewa Słocińska
- lighthouses
- mailboxes, postmen
- maxicards
- old cemeteries

For further inspiration you can take a look at my favourites in my gallery. Those are cards I have not received yet but I'd love to.

Please, send me only real cards written and stamped from the country of origin, no commercial, folded, handmade or self-printed cards. Thank you.

I also have a (continuously growing :) ) wishlist:

Belarus: cards of this series: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/BY-1489357, cards of the blue cat drawn by Irina Zenuyk, Leonid Afremov’s paintings
China: Ever&Ein panda cards
Finland: Inge Löök cards
Netherlands: cats drawn by Maria Van Bruggen
USA: Autumn in Central Park, NYC view, Bridges of Madison county, Yellowstone, Hawaii, French Quarter in New Orleans
I collect USA state map cards. If you live there, I would be very grateful if you could send me a postcard of a missing state. I already have AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, IL, IA, IN, HI, MI, MN, MO, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, WI and WY.

However, you can always send me something that you yourself would enjoy receiving, I'm sure I will feel the same way.

If you like you can write in your own language (only if you use the latin alphabet), I will try to translate it. If you really don't know what to write, draw me something and write the name of it in your language. I don't care if you think you can't draw. ;-) Just fill the card up with something. :)

I look forward to hearing from you, happy postcrossing!
