About Dianne...

Greetings from Melbourne. I've always collected postcards on my travels and this is a dream come true swapping postcards with postcrossers from all continents and countries.

I have lived and worked in Australia, England, Iceland and Japan. I've also volunteered and worked on critter, archaeology and volcanology projects in Alaska, Costa Rica, Greece. Vietnam, Thailand, Peru & Nicaragua. My favourite past times have been soaking in Japanese Onsens and taking unusual holidays for unique photo opportunities.

My music tastes are eclectic - baroque, jazz, reggae and more. I love dining out (instead of eating my own cooking). Melbourne has great multi-cultural pots of food and we can dine through the A-Z of overseas cuisines. I am rather partial to Australian wine and other countries boutique beer in summer.

Maybe you could find to send postcards of scenery from your country, maps, fruit, vegetables, typical foods, native critters or quirky/funny cards.

I love and treasure real postcards landing in my mailbox. No smiles :( when opening the mailbox to advertising, homemade or your vacation photos.

Please date the card and tell me what's the temperature. Perhaps tell me about going to see a film or concert; what you're going to eat for dinner that night; what's growing in your garden; what you see out your window or a common proverb (saying) of your country.
