About Diana...
I am the mother of a large family who enjoys meeting new people. I think people are fascinating and I rarely find a person whom I think is boring.
I love pictures of unique looking people, places, and events. I love old windows and shanties- any place that hasn't been taken care of in a very long time. Funny statues and signs are great too. I guess really, anything unique including handmade, one-of-a-kind cards. The only thing I am not fond of are cute animal cards. I would love to hear about how any particular holiday or celebration is observed in your country or region. The truth is that I am much less interested in the front of the card then what you write on it. Please tell me a little bit about you, your culture, your food, or what makes you happy. Even a joke would be great, just make sure it is not sexist or racist. I don't like things that make fun of people. A holiday is my absolute favorite thing to read about.
I thoroughly look forward to receiving any mail at all, well that is not a bill, anyway. If you put your return address on the card I will try to send you a thank you card.
As the mother of six children, I have a soft spot in my heart for children. I will gladly mail a card to a child in any country. Please, just ask.
If you see a card that I sent and really like it(it is a favorite of yours) please let me know. I might have another one and can send it to you.Sometimes I send a card that becomes very popular. When that happens, if I have extras, I will contact some of the people who made it their favorite. If you like one and I did not contact you please feel free to contact me. I often have more than one and I love swapping.
I do not list expired cards here, because the people who received them are unlikely to ever see this. On the other hand, if you sent me a card and I did not register it within a month, please contact me. It may be in a huge pile somewhere (under the laundry of six children maybe). I almost always register my cards within 15 minutes of walking in from the mailbox, just ask my family who all roll their eyes when I shout with glee, "I just got a postcard from..."
If you read all of this than hopefully you know that I really want you to write something on the card. That is most important to me. Have a great Post Crossing Day, Diana
