About departmentofrab...
Hello everyone:
My hobbies include physical fitness (running, martial arts) reading and photography. I run half marathons and eventually wish to run a full marathon. I like science fiction (movies and books). I also like comic books and fantasy games. I collect old roleplaying games and appreciate the rich history of pen and paper games. I also like board games. FLUXX and ZOMBIES!! are my favorites.
I don't have any particular preference for postcards. Homemade ones would be cool and anything to do with coffee or plants would be appreciated. I also love Seinfeld and country music. And I collect old records (vinyl). I enjoy searching for old records in thrift stores and at garage sales. I also enjoy the art and history of Islam.
The date on the postcard would be appreciated also. Feel free to write in your own language because it would be interesting for me to translate. (French would be the easiest for me to read)
Join me on this "run" through postcrossing life!
And.. if you are really stumped with what to write on the postcard put this "Rob when are you going to run a marathon?" Perhaps this will encourage me to reach my goal.
And finally.. do not feel you are limited to send me a standard sized traditional postcards. I'm into mail art so feel free to experiment.
Last Update: Buy this book - Good Mail Day by Jennie Hinchcliff and Carolee Gilligan Wheeler. You will not regret this. I promise!

Wait.... I get frustrated when I see postcrossing profiles that have a huge list of "demands". I find it takes the fun right out of postcrossing. A huge list of demands is like putting a filter on the world. There is so much wonder and joy out there. So why not be open to something that is unfamilar? I am.
It is a huge pet peeve of mine. So never feel pressured to send me postcard X or Z. It just a helpful suggestion. I will be happy to receive whatever card you wish to send me.
Sorry but I do not register ID's without receiving the postcard first.
Missing ID
I received a beautiful card from Suti (China). It is missing the ID number. Or is it a direct swap? If anyone could help me it would be appreciated. Thanks.
P.S I love New York City!
