I'm a musician and music teacher. I play the piano, and have crosswords as a hobby. I also like to cook, I love languages, and I like watching good films. I love going to the theatre (musicals, plays, operas), and especially like the Gilbert and Sullivan operas.
I lived in Switzerland for 3 years in the 1970s, and often dream of Zürich!! I lived in the centre of Zürich to begin with (Seefeldstraße), and then I moved to Scheuren, a village outside Zürich (Forchstraße). Then I lived in St Albans in Hertfordshire for some years, before coming back to the Fylde in Lancashire, the area where I was born.
As well as the languages I have listed, I know a little Japanese and a little Hungarian.
