About Dan...

Hello, everyone!

My name is Dan, I am 20 years old. I love collecting postcards and I also always appreciate a great stamp :)

My hobbies include travel, reading, watching great films and learning languages. I am a big music buff and even host a blog about music, which is more like an online music magazine. I have many favourite artists, including Kasabian, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse and many others. I really enjoy classical music, britpop, soul, industrial electronic and nice quality pop. As far as films go, I love pictures by Woody Allen, Pedro Almodóvar, Sofia Coppola, as well independent films and the art-house genre. I like reading many books and magazines.

I study Political Science and hope to become a journalism some day soon :) Oh, and I'm also originally from Barnaul, Russia. Now living in the US, and I love it!

Ok, now more about the postcards!

I would love to get postcards that meet the following themes:

-Art (any art, love great reproductions. If there's an artist whose work you really enjoy, I'd love to get that card or a card with art of your country's national painter)

-Fashion (editorials, fashion shows)

-Your city/country (I would prefer if it's not a multi-view card)

-Royal Family (whether you're in UK, Monaco, Netherlands or anywhere else where there's a Royal Family, I'd love to get those cards)

-History (political leaders from any era, monarchs etc)

-Alphabets, hieroglyphs (if you're from an Asian or Muslim country, I'd love those especially!!)

-Famous people (musicians, actors, painters)

-Old cars, buildings, VINTAGE cards are VERY welcome :)

-Football (not american)! Players, STADIUMS, ARENAS, EURO 2012 themed cards, if you can get a hold of those! Also, if you're in the UK, I'd love to get OLYMPICS LONDON 2012 themed cards!

-BOOK COVERS!

-Travel-themed cards (airports, airplanes, trains, hotels etc)

-PANDAS (No other animals, please)

Also, if you have cards with these following themes, I would really appreciate them:

-Harry Potter
-Madonna
-Lady Gaga
-Kasabian, or other british bands like Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand etc
-The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
-Film posters
-Black & White cards

PLEASE NO AD CARDS, if possible :)
