Every postcard I receive seems to become a "favorite, because when you send a postcard to me, it is very special.
I live in Redmond, Washington, USA which is near Seattle. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to Oregon when I was 28 years old. I am married. I love dogs. I love postcards of any kind, and I am so happy to send postcards as well. I have traveled in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica. I am trying to learn Spanish, and working very hard. I hope to travel more in the future.
Just in the two streets of my neighborhood, we have neighbors from India, China, Korea, Pakistan, Iran, Japan, France, Australia, Cambodia, Germany, and the Philippines. We have a big block party at the end of every summer. We barricade the street and everyone brings food. The kids all ride their bicycles and the adults visit. I feel lucky.
I like postcards depicting art, animals, or anything colorful or quirky, and I like knowing someone is happy when he or she receives my postcard. I especially love unusual settings, sometimes humorous, and even sad ones are okay. I also enjoy postcards showing a scene or landmark from your country. A note about you or something you like is a special treat for me. :)
