About Amber...

My name is Amber. I'm a 25 year old parent of two. I have a few piercings and some tattoos. I'm a friendly, outgoing person & I absolutely love meeting new people.

On July 16, 2011, I combed out my 2.5 year old set of dreadlocks. It took a week -- a bottle of conditioner, a comb & a knitting needle (don't ask). There is a good chance I will start another set down the road. For now I am enjoying the straight hair. :)

In my downtime, I collect postcards (our local antique store sells vintage postcards for 25 cents each -- some with postmarks from the 1920s and on!) I have a few penpals, I swap slams, and am very interested in getting into the zine scene. I love to knit and crochet, alter clothing, start dreads/provide dreadlock maintenance, watch movies & spend time outdoors.

I love swapping (naked) postcards, individually packaged tea, slams, mix tapes, mix CDs, deco-tape, plugs/earrings/earskins/eyelets, dread-beads, DVDs (used/unscratched, burnt or new), candies, vintage photos, stationery, pins, yarn or hemp, recipes, flavored coffees, chocolate covered espresso beans, filled 35 mm cameras & ANYTHING homemade.

Favorite music: ANYTHING. These days, I've noticed I've been listening to a lot of Industrial, Drum & Bass, Hardstyle, Rock. Nu Metal & Experimental.

Reading is my forté. If listed favorite authors and books, it would end up being ridiculously long. I frequent the local library, so I'm always bringing books home.

I'd love to recieve: ANYTHING. Please feel free to surprise me, I love anything someone feels like sharing.

I try to fulfill postcard requests on profiles, but sometimes I can't. People are quite understanding, so it does work out anyway. :)
