About Sanna...

I'm a 40-year-old woman from Central Finland and I love to get (and send) cards and letters by snail mail! I'm a Finn, my husband is Dutch and we have 2 daughters. I work self-employed as a translator. I have lived 4 years in Germany (Würzburg) and 7 years in the Netherlands (Groningen) - Postcards written in German or Dutch are welcome!

You can surprise me with any beautiful, colourful, or unusual card. (You can check my favorites to get an idea.) But it's an added bonus if the card shows one of the following:

• fruit • cakes • drinks • foxes • raccoons • pandas • wheelbarrows • balls of wool • royals • music • snowmen • plush toys • witches • fairies • colours of the rainbow • birdhouses • something oversized or undersized • something retro • something cute

I like most drawings of animals (even cartoons), birds, butterflies or flowers, and I'm absolutely crazy about postcards by Roger la Borde, Natalia Chetkova, Viktoria Kirdij, Polina Yakovleva, Cavallini, Rilakkuma, Daphne Brissonnet, Alain Pelletier, Marjolein Bastin and Janneke Brinkman (and many more...).

Selfmade cards are great, if they are made with skill and care - not just magazine cuttings, please...

I also like to see beautiful landscapes or city views, famous landmarks, wildlife and nature (single-view preferred) - but please, only from your country, NOT FROM YOUR TRAVELS ABROAD. I understand that you are excited about your travels, but I think Postcrossing is all about telling others about where you live! Especially from "RARE" POSTCROSSING COUNTRIES (ID-codes of 5 digits or less) I'd like to see something typical (an interesting place or a popular thing) of your own country!
