Hello,
my name is Carola. I'm 46, married, and I work in an advertising agency: I love travelling (even if it is only armchair travelling when reading about interesting places or getting postcards) as well as dancing (Tango Argentino), spending time with interesting people, cooking (you might guess from my postcrossing alias - coriander is my favourite herb), books (well-written novels, thrillers, biographies etc.)
I like surprises, so it would be great to see postcards that are a bit out of the ordinary: an exceptional view of a popular sight, black/white instead of the usual 4c, something beautiful from nature seen with an interesting focus or angle. I like views of water - lakes, streams, the sea, but fountains as well. I love 50s, 60s or other historical views. Or - as I love food - something related to that. Or something you personally feel is typical for your hometown or home country as you see it!
But in any case, a postcard from a foreign place in my postbox will make my day, so many thanks in advance.
