About Meizi...

Hello! I'm Meizi(=plum) from Beijing and I'm now studying translation at ESIT in Paris. So I'm sending most cards of & from Paris. Or else I send cards from Beijing when I'm back home during holidays.

I'm a translator and I live with my girlfriend. I like reading(esp. SF, fantasy and mystery novels), travelling and arts.

I've been collecting postcards for several years and here are some of my favorite kinds of cards:

- MAP/FLAG cards

- rainbow/COLORFUL cards

- food cards (esp Desserts, Sushi, Berries and other colorful or traditional food)

- moomin cards (with moomin stamps it would be even better! kiitos~)

- art cards (of paintings and photography and all other arts too)

- funny cards

- astronomy cards & stamps (this year is International Astronomy year, and I would like to exchange stamps of this theme with you! I have the French stamp of Astroomy year and I would love to see the stamps of the same theme from other countries!)

- krtek cards (I love this cartoon a lot and it remains a part of the sweet memories of my childhood...)

- sheep cards (for my mum, she loves sheep!!!)

- golden fish cards

- snowy scene cards

- dance/musical instruments (I used to play pipa myself. It is a traditional Chinese musical instrument as you can see the reference here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipa I wish to learn to play the cello someday...I love its elegant and beautiful tone color.)

- lighthouses (both my mum and i love lighthouse... once we climbed up the hill of Macau just to see the lighthouse and it was very nice indeed)

- trains & ships esp sailships

- plant/forest cards

- pixar's Monsters. Inc. card

- Alice in Wonderland card

- cards from islands (I always have the fancy for islands...when we were at high school we spent a lot time drawing maps and talking about the islands as dream destinations...such as the Japanese islands, Java, Madagascar or Ushuaia...etc)

P.S.: Please don't send me the card in envelope...but to postage the card itself. I love stamps and postmarks too!
