About Cody...

We are a Mexican-American family of three. It is me, Cody, my husband, Art and our baby girl, Sofia. We live in a smaller city between Austin and San Antonio. As a family we love going for walks, driving to new places and especially taking a nice long nap! We are huge Dallas Cowboys fans.

I enjoy learning new languages, cooking, baking, walking, postcards, stickers, buttons, Audrey Hepburn, rainy days, fashion, design, random found objects and making art. I am a graphic designer and book artist. I have my own party planning business, and I am also an independent consultant for BeautiControl. Want to find out more? I would love any kind of postcard especially those of art/design or handmade cards. I love recipe cards and unusual, less traditional cards. You can sew some buttons onto the card as well or cover it with stickers. If you send a card to me you can write it to: Cody Chavarria.

I have a wonderful husband who is also my partner in crime. I keep him young at heart. My husband is a drummer and enjoys rock and roll. He loves classic cars and is fixing up his '78 el camino. It has become his lifetime hobby because there is so much to do with just one truck. He drives a big truck all day at work. He loves being a father all over again. He would love to learn chinese and one day travel to China.

He has not received many postcards and would love any kind of card especially one with old cars or rock bands. He'd love to receive Marilyn Manroe by mail. If you send a card to him you can write it to: Art Chavarria.

Our daughter is going to be 2 years old in January! She is growing up so fast. She is always so happy, smiling and loving every moment of life. She takes a dance class and cooking classes. She goes to zoo school once a week, and has a busy life like the rest of us! We have created a time capsule for her. It is going to hold all sorts of memories from her first years of life. Then it will be sealed up and not opened until her 15th birthday. (January 27, 2015) So, if you would like to send her a postcard she will see it when she turns 15. How fun would that be to recieve a postcard from a stranger 15 years later? You can write her a special message wishing her a Happy 15th Birthday or tell her what your country is like in the year 2012.

Sofia has no postcard preference. Any postcard will do, especially one for a little girl. She loves Mickey Mouse, Sesame Street, Tinker Bell, kittens and puppies and cartoons. If you send a card to her you can write it to: Sofia Chavarria.
