Hi everybody!

I'm Maria, a 22 year old girl from Germany. I study German, French and English translation in Paris. Foreign countries and languages are my great passion, and I love travelling around the world. But as I can't see every corner of the world by myself, I think postcrossing is a great alternative. It's a good way of discovering other countries and learn about other people and their cultures.
If possible, I would like to receive cards that show something typical of your country, or a place that you like very much. Art cards are welcome, too, or anything you would like to receive yourself- surprise me!

But anyway, what's more important to me than the postcard itself, is what you write on it. I really would like you to write something personal, about yourself or the place where you live, or about the card or about how you discovered postcrossing and your experiences with it!
Don't hesitate to write something in your own language, especially if it's Arabic or Italian as I'm learning both of them. It would be nice to have a translation with it, though ;)
