Hello, everyone!
I’m a girl at the beginning of my twenties living in Tartu. I major in contemporary history. 1920s and 1930s are my personal favourites.
Besides history I enjoy urban exploration, geocaching, films, stand-up comedy, philosophy, tea and anthropology. Oh, and singing too - mostly in the company of my cat.
If I added everything I loved, this list would be just too long, but here are some ideas:
- History cards. From retro ads to historical figures, places, propaganda art, famous events.
- Native people. Traditional clothing, art, patterns, symbols, rituals, items. I find it so inspiring.
- Your town, city, country. Touristic single-views.
- Book illustrations. Jip & Janneke.
Or just send me a card you would happy to receive too. Maybe have a look at my favourites, if you need some inspiration. Still, I don't prefer folded cards or envelopes - I just like to see stamps and eveything on the same card.
As a student I know how busy life can be at times, but a personal message on a card really cheers me up. You can write about many things: How's the weather? What did you eat today? What's your favourite tea/coffee/wine? What is the fact I should definitely know about your country? Do you like cats, or do you prefer dogs/snakes/spiders/mammoths? As you can see you can write about everything (or draw, it you prefer it).
