Hello,
I spend my free time with books, in front of computer watching films or surfing the Internet. I am a vegetarian, I like second-hand booksellers and shops. I open to all kinds of creativity.
If you're not sure what to talk about write what you were doing some hours before or what you gonna do next) What kind of music do you usually listen to? What's the last book you've read? What's your fav movie, director? You could advice me something! Maybe you've discovered something new for yourself lately? What are you worried about? What makes you laugh or cry?
Or tell me a bit about your country (I mean not usual stereotypes like Russia - vodka, America - fastfood or Germany - porno)). I'm also interested in politics and economics of your country.
Please don't just wish me that banal Happy Postcrossing, I guess anyway we all enjoy it. I don't believe you have nothing to say :) Your messages are always more important for me then the cards themselves. Thus I'll appreciate any card you send me. Though I have some wishes :)
- old postcards (literally or stylized), retro and vintage, black and white
- people (kids, old people, couples, portraits, professions, subcultures, freaks)
- cartoons, fairy tails or legends heroes, The Simpsons, Alice in Wonderland (!)
- music related (from musical instruments to singers and bands)
- cinema related (directors, actors, film posters or shots, festivals)
- books
- paintings (just please not portraits of kings, comanders, etc; not religious)
- pin-up girls, art nude
- animals, fruits and vegetables
- toys and dolls
- science
- city views (not multiviews; fontains, bridges, old buildings, interesting architectural ideas; you can even send a photo with something that's usually not illustrated in cards: abandoned places, street art, graffiti, etc.)
- design, geometry
- world problems related
- patterned with repeated pictures
or whatever :)
Hand-made, selfprinted, ads ones and envelopes are ok if you like. Sometimes envelopes are even better in order to protect a card from glue and other possible damage especially if you live far (Unated States! Unfortunately cards arrived mostly damaged) or you send a handmade postcard.
This year I started to learn French so it'd be nice if you write down something not very difficult :)
You might say some words in your native language (with translation) :)
