I love receiving postcards - no difference between me and the other Postcrossers, I think ;)

Kinds of the postcards which can interest me the most:
- landscapes from the place where you live
- photos of your city (if in the picture there is shown a place which ou like very much, tell me, what is it and why you like it :))
- if in the place where you live you send postcards because of some specific occasions (a holiday? a religious festival? the Hamster's Day? :) Whatever like this) I'm curious about this tradition, so you can send me a postcard like these and write something about it :)
- Celtic pictures and ornaments
- everything connected to the Saint Brendan's Voyage (or travels like his) and a kind of boat named 'curach' (well, I even don't know if any postcards like this exist...)
- book characters (especially from fantasy books - Tolkien, Pratchett, C.S. Lewis etc...)
- paintings/drawings (I mean, I like not only photos of city, buildings or landscapes, but also that what was registered by an eye and a hand, not by a camera ;))
- strange or funny animals

I'd like to know something about fantasy/sf fan conventions in other countries, so if you are interested in or know anything about it - I will be grateful for you to tell me :)

You can also write to me about:
- food you like (and how to do it - I like new recipes :))
- your pet
- traditions from your region

Self-made cards are welcome :)

And I've written 'a list' of pictures and subjects than can interest me, but if you find a postcard which really 'begs you' to be sent to somebody ;) or you want to write to me about something that you find interesting - I will see and read it with pleasure!

Я очень рада,получая открытки по-русски. Но прашу, пишите чётко! Я ещё не очень хорошо знаю этот язык и поэтому не могу "отгадывать" слов (я очень много понимаю - польский похож на русский :) а если не понимаю - искаю в словаре... Но к сожалению я ещё часто не вижу разницы между вуквами например ш, щ, л, и, ц и другими, когда они нарисаны рядом ;)). Надежду, что понимаете, что я хотила сказать :)

А если знаете белорусский или украинский, пишите в этих языках (с переводам на русский - всего или некоторых предложений). :)
