Hi there,
I'm Sylvi, a 36-yrs-old self-employed academic from Bavaria, southern Germany. I have an M.A. in German Philology and Art History. I work as a teacher, translator, journalist, lector and lecturer.
Wide range of interests and hobbies: sports, literature, art, the great outdoors, music, North American Natives, myths and legends, herbalism, concerts, history, movies, travel, drawing & painting, languages, genealogy, penpalling, tea, animals, museums, (art) exhibitions, festivals...
I live in the countryside (not far from Munich), have a dog and two cats. The avatar shows my 10-yrs-old tomcat Maxi.
I'm a big ice hockey-, soccer-, Formula 1 - and Audrey Hepburn-fan.
My fave destinations are Canada, the USA, Scandinavia and Israel.
I love to collect and swap postcards (you'd never have guessed, huh?!), postage stamps and stationery.
