About Toni...

I am 35 years old, and I am a high school teacher. My school is an alternative program because our students come to us from 3 different high schools. They come to us because they have dropped out or fallen behind for reasons such as: teen pregnancy, drug abuse, lack of family support, commitments to family, learning disabilities, health problems...the list goes on and on. My job can take a lot out of you at times, but I care a lot about my students and the rewards far outweigh the rest.

Some of the things I love are:
*daisies--the little white ones with the yellow center; and the brightly colored gerbera daisies
*puppies
*animals--babies!
*desserts--especially ice cream
*the color green

About my Family:
My husband is a teacher too; he teaches 8th grade science.
We have 3 precious "babies" (our little dogs). Matty is our 5 lb. little white poodle, and he is the most spoiled little dog ever. Our other pup, Luna, is a tiny bit bigger than Matty, and she is a wild, little chihuahua/jack russell mix, but she is so funny, we can't help but love her. Number 3 is our newest addition. His name is BB (yes, like a b.b. gun- he had that name when we got him). He is a black daschund/terrier mix. He is about the same size as Luna, and he is a total "lap hog"!

Our other child is my niece, Courtney. She is 17 years old and has lived with me since she was 5 years old. [She. is. a. challenge!] :p
