I was an exchange student from 2009-2010 in Switzerland so if you speak German or French I would be happy for you to write in one of those languages. (C'est vrai, il existe des américains qui arrivent à parler le français! ... Es gibt eigentlich Amerikaner, die Deutsch können.) Also if you are from Italy please write something in Italian, as I am trying to learn it.

Also I have friends who are learning Japanese, Russian, and Arabic, so if you know any of those, please write something with a translation into English so they can practice reading!

Now I study chemical engineering at the University of Kansas. It's my third semester here, and I really like it so far. I am planning on going to medical school in the future.

My hobbies are listening to and playing music (I play violin, viola and piano), reading, photography, cooking, and learning languages.

I prefer postcards that don't just show photos of tourist sites. I will be happy with almost anything but I also really like illustrations / artwork and black and white postcards. If you don't know what to write, tell me what made your day or what was the best thing that has happened to you recently. What makes you happy?
