Dear Postcrosser, it's great to meet you. I am a (mad) scientist from Poland working in a research lab in the US. I really enjoy standard touristy postcards: landscapes, cityscapes, etc. I usually prefer single views, but interesting multiviews are always welcome. If you are feeling more creative, postcards showing something related to any of these would make me very happy:
- powerstations and other industrial/postindustrial architecture
- geology: vulcanoes, glaciers, rocks etc.
- books (people of Finland: Moomins fall into this category:)
- opera
- museums
- science (obviously!).
I would rather not receive postcards with flowers, hearts, cute teddy bears, cartoon characters (with the notable exception of Moomins), pink princesses etc. But of course any postcard is very welcome and appreciated. Also, I would be grateful, if you could write something about yourself, books you are reading, and books that you can recommend (of course, if you don't like reading - write about whatever is interesting for you).
