I am 55 years old and have been living in Alabama for almost two years. I am originally from Pennsylvania and am a Pennsylvania German. Before moving to Mobile, AL I was living and working in Hershey, PA. It often smelled like chocolate and some days you just had to have a Hershey Kiss.
I have had several professions in my life; such as, Librarian (school, college, and public), Medical Secretary, Retail Store assistant Manager. At the moment I am working in a public library and enjoying it so very much. I get to see all the new books that come in and I currently have so many to read and look at that I may have to just spend about one week to catch up.
I have lived in a total of eight states and have moved at least 14 times since I was married 33 years ago.
I have two grown children, a girl and a boy.
I enjoy scrapbooking, jewelry making, crocheting and knitting. I read books as much as I can and play on the computer almost everyday.
I would be happy to receive postcards showing the area or country in which you live. However, any postcard will make me smile. But please no cards with advertisements. Store bought or homemade are fine.
