Hi My name is Val and I live by the sea on the Eastern coast of England in fact my town is The Most Easterly Point of the British Isles I love anything to do with other cultures and I am very interested in social geography. I have lived in Hong Kong, Singpore and Malaysia. I now work for the National Health Service and have three children and seven grandchildren.I enjoy Family history, and trying out different kinds of food (not cooking - eating them)drawing, crafts and making birthday/Christmas cards for my friends, walking in the woods or on the beach I love the sea and living by it I don't have a car so I cycle and walk all the time

My special likes are
People -Faces of the world
Old people, I love the wrinkles and character in these faces(German post-crossers I love the old lady with daisies in her hair and mouth but I have a LOT of copies now)
Children
Cycles I ride mine everyday
Indigenous life/ Ethnic cards
Shoes or boots
Windows or doors
Poppies my favourite flower BUT only poppies not all flower postcards please
I am happy with colour or B/W

For me the picture is my love if you have a used card that fits my likes pop it in an envelope you can use that for me that's fine

Please don't use my favourite wall to send me a card it will be a duplicate I USE MY FAVOURITE WALL TO RECORD FAVOURITES I HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED Use it as a guide to the type of cards I like Many, many thanks

Please no Home made cards they are too big a risk for me
I don't mind a photo card that fits one of my themes though

* Please no printed cards sent though a third person/ agency (Touchstone, Samsung etc)
* Ad cards are OK if they REALLY fit my likes
* Please no Cartoon or tourist cards if possible they are better left for others IF you can
* Folded cards are not really postcards
