About Karina...

Hey!
My name is Karina, I'm 27 years old and my way to work ends always in a kindergarden, where 22 kids wants to play, laugh, cuddle, scream, ... with me ;)
I love this project and I fell in love with buying postcards everywhere.
Mostly I like cards from your own town/city or the capital of your country - in multiviews or single... it's your choice which one you like more ;)

Like many other Postcrosser I also have some special wishes and if you have/find cards with that you could make someone very happy :)
- trafic-signs in every way [especially UK/US],
- cards with/about COCA COLA,
- high buildings [esp. skyscrapers] or the view out of it,
- the beach, weather (rain, thunder), but please NO MORE sunset ( i got so many at least, sorry!)
- black/white photography of your town/city
- clocks
- doors
- maps & flags
- Hello Kitty
- RED is my favourite colour (!!!)

[Christmas is near ;) (I LOVE LOVE LOVE the season!!) - I'd love to receive christmas cards in December. I also have birthday in this month (18th December) so if you like to send me a birthday card - just do it! Thanx!]

I'm addicted to reading books, like stuff from Cecilia Ahern, Sophie Kinsella & Nicholas Sparks. And I love to buy and watch DVDs.
Travelling is one of my passion, even I doesn't be to so many countries... would love to see many more. 2008 one of my big dreams came true - one week NEW YORK CITY!!
Music was my first love... I'm most into Pop, R'n'B, Italiano, Latin.

I'm living at the baltic sea, near Lübeck - which is a very historical city in Germany.
The 'world's best' marzipan "Niederegger" is manufactured here and we have a really big and important ferry port called Skandinavienkai.
Thomas Mann was born here in 1875. He wrote the novel "The Buddenbrooks", for which he got the nobelprize in 1929.
Just a few miles where I live now was the border between east and west Germany, which fell finally in 1989.
In 1987 some culture parts of the old town center in Lübeck was explained to the World Heritage by UNESCO.

I like my postcards handwritten and stamped.
Write something about yourself, what you like the most, your favourite tv-show, book, song, musician, whatever...

Many greetings from Germany and I can't wait to hear/read from you.
Karina x
