About Astrid...

Hi all,

My name is Astrid, I am 33 years old and since September 2010, I live in Innsbruck, Austria. I moved to Austria with my husband, who works there at the university. I can read and understand Deutsch, but writing it is a different story! So, if you are from a German speaking country and wonder why I wrote in English: that is why :) All my postcards are in English (or Dutch, if you are from the Netherlands ;))

I enjoy receiving any kind of card - except for the really touristic kind of cards, sorry. IF you got my profile for a favourites tag, please don't send them to me. I would like to read a little about you or about the country you live in. For me the back is just as important as the front! If at all possible send me the card written in an envelope - I receive so many damaged cards. But if it is not possible or more expensive, no problem!

My hobbies include reading (historic romance, Harry Potter, Twilight-series, Sookie Stackhouse novels, Laurell K. Hamilton, Jane Austen), watching TV-series (True Blood, The Tudors, costume drama from the BBC), Elvis Presley and cooking, so cards in those themes are also very welcome.

And, I love promotion cards from hotels and espcially Bed & Breakfasts and small inns. So if you have one of those laying around, I love to get them! I don't really like other promotion or free cards.

As for swaps, at the moment, I only want to swap cards if you can send me one of my favourites or something from my wishes described in my profile in return. Sorry for that - but I just get too many requests at the moment.
