About João...

Willing to see tiny pieces of the world smashed in postcards, this young portuguese fellow, aged seventeen, unique in its kind, signed up to this website. He has some purposes: dream about the wonders of the lands beyond Portugal's borders, enrich his conceptions, create new knowledge, read messages in languages different from his own, collect emotions. Diversity pleases him. He finds it special. Therefore, any postcard reveiling ethniticy, cultural identity or even personal tastes is welcome; any postcard reflecting moods, states of mind, random or witty thoughts, fears concerning the future or personal aims will be well received. Nevertheless, he dislikes cards with flowers, animals and other feminine things. If you send him just one postcard, he will not send you nothing in response. Even if you ask him politely. However, if you send him more than one postcard, he will be delighted in retribute those which are in excess. The only condition here is that all postcards must be written in the back. Make him a dreamer, make him a millionaire, make him an idealist.

If you're Finnish, brighten up his day with Moomin stamps. If you're British, send him countryside postcards. If you're Icelandic, tell him what you think about Sigur Rós. If you're German or French or Spanish, write the postcard in your language. But the most important is: if you're human, send him one postcard.
