About Ankku...

Hello everyone!

My name is Ankku and I'm a 22-year-old photographer. I love drawing, painting, making clothes and good food. I enjoy also watching movies and tv-series, for example Dexter, True Blood, Project Runway and Desperate Housewives. My favourite band is the Dresden Dolls and Harry Potter-books stole my heart years ago.

I like unique things, colour, creativity, positivity and kindness.

I am interested in knowing how different people see the world and how would they make it a better place for us all. I remember the day when I found out that there are actually many wars going on in the world. I had lived in a bubble believing that wars are only in history and that people living today would not do anything like that. I was horrified that day and until recent years I refused to watch the news on tv because I didn't want to see the terrible things happening all around.

The reason I wrote all that is: I came up with a little project that I want to try with all of you postcrossers out there. You don't have to participate in it and you can send a normal postcard (I like artistic cards) with whatever you want written on it, if you like. But I would really appreciate it if you'd like to take a moment to think about what in your opinion every single person in this world could or should do to help make planet Earth a good place to live in for everyone.
It doesn't have to be anything mind-blowingly huge and never-before-thought-of. Just simple things, like saying hello and smiling to the cleaning lady.

I am going to make a collage of all the cards in this project and so I would very much like for you to write your view (with a marker if you have one) on the right side of the card, on the back you can maybe tell me something about yourself.

P.S. I looove beautiful scenery and art cards (paintings, old and modern, photographs, graphics, self-made etc.).
