Here's one 22-year-old undergraduate mathematics student desperately longing for nice postcards with cold/freezing/numbing photographs (I just *love* cold - ironically, I was born on the second day of August :-)) of a beautiful country I've always dreamt of moving to (and will most probably do that in the future, either temporarily or otherwise), Finland. :-)
My favourite hobbies are:
computers (Linux, Perl etc.)
languages (be it computer or spoken ;-))
board games (http://www.boardgamegeek.com), including chess
mathematics (logic and set theory)
listening to music (mostly metal: Nightwish, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica, Falconer, Ensiferum etc.)
watching and collecting movies (Buffalo '66, A Clockwork Orange, American Psycho etc.)
watching TV (Nip/Tuck, Family Guy etc.)
reading books (Game of Thrones, Popcorn, The Hobbit, Lila Dit Ca etc.)
hanging out
(absolutely, positively not necessarily in that particular order! ;-))
Anyway... My reason for coming here was attempting to find out as much as I can about Finland and the people there, but I would be delighted to send/receive written postcards to/from other parts of the world (that is, if you don't mind my utterly hideous handwriting ;-)).
If I've left anything out, ask away (or, better yet - ask my girfriend, registered here as lafic, for more accurate information! ;-))! :-)
