About Amy...

Hi! My name is Amy, and I live in Texas in the USA. I have three children (ages 8, 6, and 5). I also have two dogs, a Great Dane and an Australian Shepherd. My husband is a pilot in the US Air Force. We move around quite a bit (six times in eight years of marriage), but I love learning about new places and meeting new people.

I am a stay-at-home mom, although I very rarely stay at home! I volunteer quite a bit in our community, and I also teach English Composition online. I am a busy bee, but it keeps me from getting bored.

My children and I love to receive post cards from different places. We have a map on our wall, and we mark it each time we receive a new postcard. Any postcards are welcome, of course, but If possible, we would love to receive postcards with pictures of your country, its people, landmarks, tourist attractions, buildings, etc. Also, anything that children would enjoy is welcome.

We are moving to Germany this spring, so any local travel recommendations in Europe are also greatly appreciated--especially things I might not find in a tourist book. Thank you!!!

If you are uncertain about what to write, here are a few ideas:
1. The last book you read or movie you saw
2. Favorite and/or popular children's books, toys, games in your country
2. What are your top five favorites (movies, books, bands, and so on).
3. Something interesting/special about where you live.

Thank you so much! Happy Postcrossing!
