About Aarika...

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist (I have a degree in Biology and my certification in Medical Technology) and work in an Immunohematology Reference Lab (I make sure people recieve compatible blood products). I love ice hockey, and my favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. I was married in June 2011 and my husband is a high school math teacher. We are owned by a mix-breed dog (my avatar picture) and a crazy Jack Russell Terrier.

I'm really interested in cultures around the world, so I'd like to hear about your part of it! I'd love postcards that show me something unique about where you're from, but I'm not picky. I love every card that I get because each is unique. Any kind is welcome! If you're not sure what to write, tell me something interesting about the place you live or about yourself. And, if you speak a language other than English, I would really like it if you could write something for me (with translation!) in your native tongue.

Also, I'd like to recieve cards/stamps from any of the Olympic Games, places of worship (any religion), your local ice hockey team, ballet (pointe), or any science-themed card. If you don't have any of these, don't worry!! I'll be happy with anything you can send :) But please write on and stamp the cards, no envelopes.
