Hello!
My name is Alvin and I'm from The Netherlands. (Holland)
I just discovered this site by an advertisement in a magazine.
Since I was a little kid I was interested in sending and receiving postcards from all over the world. So I guess this site is something typical for me!:-) I just bought lots of postcards from my country and some awesome stamps to mail my postcards to other members in far away places!

My hobbies are: reading, shopping, films, listening to music, going out, collecting fridge magnets and...traveling! I have travelled to lots of countries and I'm always making plans to see something new. To get inspired by other countries I read lots of travel magazines. The first thing I do when I'm abroad is running to the nearest souvenir store to buy fridge magnets, postcards and stamps. I must admit that I'm a little obsessed about it! :-)

To be honest, I don't like self-made cards, cards in envelopes and advertisement cards. I love postcards with typical sights from a country with a picture on it of a landscape, famous building, towns, villages, national parks, etc. Also I like postcards with national mailboxes of your country, lighthouses, northern lights, world heritage and people in national/traditional costumes. I like beautiful stamps as well.
