Hi there!

My avatar is my portrait by my boyfriend.

I'm Alina, originally from Petrozavodsk, Karelia (North West of Russia). Now I'm doing my Bachelor degree studies in International Business at the local Finnish university in Kuopio. I am an active, easy-going & energetic person who enjoys art, film photography, travelling, languages, reading, painting, music, films, history, yoga, fashion, cooking tasty and healthy food, nature, people, cultures & so on! I reckon it's just fantastic to swap postcards throughout the world! I'm dreaming of visiting as many places in the world as possible. What I like most is that thanks to Postcrossing I'm able to meet new people around the globe, touch cards, hold them in my hands, examine the hand-writing, just admire them and it's all real, nothing like emails. Since that moment when people started using emails instead of letters by post, we've lost that charm of personal contact. So I'm eager to restore it.

I adooore reading long messages! You can write me whatever you want, but please more than just a few lines... I'd also like all the descriptions of your town or area where you live. I'm eager to learn more about who you are, your interests, your plans for the near future, your dreams, your lifestyle...and what makes you particularly happy. I'll be pleased to read something in your native language. I'd also ask you to put the date on the postcard.

After all, I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful project! I like receiving postcards as much as sending ones! Meeting new people is great!
